Ji-net Adsl Configuration

Featured Replies

I'm trying to configure Eudora to use with my new Ji-Net ADSL account (Jicompax). I can't get anyone to answer the phone either at Ji-Net or at TT&T, so am hoping someone here has an idea for me.

I can receive emails via Eudora just fine, but cannot receive. I have a feeling I may not have the correct term listed under SMTP Service. I've tried mail.ji-net.com, ji-net.com, mail.jicompax and jicompax, with no luck.

Thanks in advance.

On the Ji-net site they say use net1.ji-net.com for the SMTP

They have a FAQ here

The Eudora screens they show on the Ji-Net help page are older versionsm but

I tried that one and it works - sort of. What happens now is that it will send all but the first message in the queue. So I guess I'll just keep one nonsense message permanently queued.

I got a message on my phone from j net saying there customer phone service will be down for a bit if you want the number they gave me to ring PM me. this was yesterday so by now i would have thought there phine service should have been resumed but if u want to give other number a go i will pass number along.

Thought it was good of them to pm me about it actually.
