I'm looking for recommendations for a goldsmith in Pattaya. A lot of shops send their work out to be made in a shop. Anyone have experience dealing with having a ring made? Thanks

i had one made for a friend from a picture he sent me

it was the ring that Tom selleck as Magnum Pi used to wear on the TV show

the goldsmith i use also made my wifes engagement ring and many other bits and pieces

they are located in a small back street soi off pattaya thai

you need to go past Tukcom towards the beach keeping to the left side of Pattaya Thai

look for a big newspaper and magazine vendor on the forecourt of a Kodak shop

thats the soi i am referring to

turn left into the small soi

keep to the right side

there is a shophouse about 4 down with a red shutter and chinese adornments outside

he has a few showcases of made up jewellery at the entrance

his wife and daughter run the shop

ask for the father, he will be upstairs at the back making jewellery

tell him what you want, a picture will help and you are on your way

Well, Timekeeper, that's interesting information. I assume you mean the Soi one down from Soi Hollywood or the barber street? How are their prices there? In the future I may use them, although I am sure the Thai recipient would know of their own store...LOL!!

yes thats it, one down from the old Hollywood disco soi where all the barbers shops are now

his prices are good.

he sells good quality diamonds too

I use the mentioned shop as well and they do good work.

This Soi is also known as Soi Kodak and Soi Lao.
