Buying/renting A Guitar In Patong/kamala

Featured Replies

Hi, hoping somebody can help.

I'm looking at purchasing or hiring a cheap acoustic guitar when I come back to Thailand in a few weeks.

Does anybody know where I might be able to do this in the Patong/Kamala area?

Cheers!

There is been a guitar vendor in one of the shops in Tesco-Lotus building. Has been there for at least five years now. Various guitars, all quite cheap and of unknown quality. A considerably higher quality music instrument shop is in the upstairs shop area at Big-C supermarket.

Cheaper one in Phuket town..

On the Cho Fa east heading out of town on the rt before the last main intersection / lights by a few 100m.

Super cheap has many types but the best sounding there was a yamaha for 4500. Most of the others were even cheaper.\

there was a man there who tuned the yamaha for us and was quite good.

But I dont' know anything about guitars.

On the main road north out of Phuket Town towards the airport, on the outer edge of Phuket Town.

I've got an acoustic you can buy. It's nothing special but sounds good. I'm located just outside Patong. PM me if you're interested.
