Does anyone know where i can purchase galvanised steel sheet in the Pattaya area as i need to make some drain covers around my swimming pool as the product used by the builders is not very good.

Not good to order standard galvanized steel plates and then cut them on site. Cutting exposes non coated surfaces.

Better to cut and fabricate the covers using mild steel. Make sure all the sections fit and then send them for galvanizing.

If they are not too large, stainless from a good fabricator might be a better way to go. Even hot-dip galvanize abrades and does not completely "re-heal" .. can look pretty ugly after awhile. Also for light gauge, hot-dip will warp.
