Hi, does anyone have a contact for a web designer/developer, based on Bangkok, i have a few ideas i need for a website, and really wanted to discuss in person the ideas, or is there a long term expat that has the skills i need looking for some extra work

I need a forum based site with a chat room, and likely adding and adjusting/tweaking the site till i get it the way i want it, even after it goes live, so need access to the designer

The other alternative is using a Web developer that is based in Thailand

At this stage i am looking for a starting price for a template and the add on`s,

The project is not going to be a a few pages as its going to need a forum and chat room, i have done some digging around for templates, but really need the experience of someone that has been involved in building websites and can offer ideas to what can be built

There is a rating system for programmers... and they seem to be competitive in maintaining those positions. Reviews and comments from customers also.

You will receive many bids rapidly from the project description that you submit. Then some dialog can be established with a wide variety of companies and freelance specialists... you can take it from there. You can withdraw as well. Maybe five bucks will leave your hands...

I've used the system. It is comprehensive and requires some study to become familiar with the features, services, and options.

Funds go into escrow and you control the release schedule. The team I selected had their hands full with a complex project but they stayed after it and were responsive in communications. They are a top 10-15 group depending upon the weekly shift in rankings.
