I should be so lucky! Perhaps there are different packages for WETV? There's certainly no HBO or Star Movies on my little lot :) Anyone else got these?

No. I don't have HBO or Star Movies and they aren't mentioned on their web-site (wetv.co.th/en_channel).

There is a Star Cinema channel which is a movie channel dubbed in Thai and shouldn't be confused with Star Movies, which was a part of Star TV (and as such was crap).

Sorry, the list was for my personal use and included the HBO and Star Movies which I believe comes from UBC package. I get my "free" cable TV from my building.

For those interested in the Scifi and Universal channels, I found a website with their schedule.

Just one small glitch, the program schedule is 1 hour ahead.

Hey, thanks for that, vagabond!

I've been watching the France24 channel (excellent English language world news) and that horrible reprehensible CI channel- trash reality TV at its finest. But absolutely riveting.

Now I can expand my mind to other alternative worlds.... :D

All you city dwellers whining about WeTv, us rural folk would give our right arms [or at least a finger nail] for cable tv at 350 baht a month :)

Couldn't agree more! I gave up True for all the usual reasons. Now am trying to get connected to alternative satellite system, but it seems the trees are too tall around me... Why on earth doesn't WeTV extend to outlying areas? I'm sure there would be enough interest to pay for the extra cable. It certainly happened in Phuket. Does anyone have a contact at WeTV who has any influence?

The Jay Leno Show seems to be on Universal almost every day. It really keeps you up to date with what is happening back in the World and right now he is in the midst of a lot of controversy.

As long as you remember that Fox's News of the Screws is the main TV arm of the Amerikan Ministry of Propaganda, you can enjoy it ok.

Ditto, CNN.

Don't worry, all news content on the British Communist Corporation is approved by Tony Blair personally. :)
