January 16, 201016 yr I chipped part of the laminate wood flooring in my apartment. This particular panel is slightly raised and I caught it on the bottom of my chair. Can this one panel be fixed or does the whole floor have to come up? If if can be fixed any idea on where/who I can contact? Also anyone know where I can buy a floor mat like the one pictured?
January 16, 201016 yr I did some thing similar, I coloured some wood glue to near the same colour of the floor, then filled it with the wood glue.
January 16, 201016 yr Here in Norway laminate floor is quite common (since it's so cheap), and there are several products in the shops to fill in when small parts fell off like this. Maybe a spesialist shop for laminate floor in Thailand also have? It's posible to change just one piece, but I wouldn't trust an ordinary thai worker to do it, so again, maybe a specialist shop could recommend you to someone. Good luck!
January 17, 201016 yr Yep, Thongkorn has offered the best, cheapest and most effective solution for that minor damage shown ithe picture. Of course getting the colour right is all important if you want it to be unnoticeable. Sorry cannot offer any addresses for shops that stock the materials you need, they will exist no doubt hopefully someone else can help with that.
January 17, 201016 yr you could try a kitchen /bathroom joinery factory -- they should have have repair kits in many colours--as they use laminates for many of their units--take a sample with you if you can---if you have none-cut a small bit out of a place that is not seen { obviosley } such a a dark corner in a wardrobe or such like--- Bucko
January 18, 201016 yr Author Thanks for the suggestions everyone. My concern is my landlord taking advantage of this to get me to pay to redo the entire floor. I'd rather pay now to have that specific panel replaced but I'll look into the wood glue solution.
