January 26, 201016 yr Can anyone recommend a cheap (500 Bht or less) guesthouse on the Skytrain line. Found some places in Sukhumvit and Silom, but was wondering if there is anything if we venture outside of those neighborhoods. Not expecting luxury accomodations (obviously) but intersted in knowing what is avaiable in other neighborhoods.

January 26, 201016 yr Suk11 hostel starts at 500 b I believe. Can't beat the location but not sure about the rooms. Looks okay from the outside. Website is good also.
January 26, 201016 yr Soi Kasemsan 1, opposite MBK, has several ok guesthouses in this price range. The area is better than trashy Kao San, but no night life.
