Thanks. They don't look too bad. Maybe I'll try to pick one up 2nd hand.

New one is about Baht 3,500, the cheapest Canon lens.

Not sure it is worth buying it second hand :)

Just took a photo one hour ago of the coconuts on the tree in my garden. From the balcony of the house.

This one is not really with the cheapest lens of Canon but with the EF 24-105mm.

A bit more difficult to handle but gives you very sharp pictures.

Nice nuts............ :)

And I kept the shutter speed close the minimum, 1.8 to 2.0

Que? :) I think you're confusing aperture and shutter speed here.

A bar girl I took to Phuket took this...

Fantastic picture.

A pity it is a bit out of focus.

Was in Samut Songkran today, for a Buddhist ceremony.

Allowed me to take a few pictures of the "salt lakes" there.

And I have been trying for ages to take a good picture of the Thai flag.

Not so easy to get a nice picture of a flag.

So, I did it again today...

I kind of like this one also, taken in my garden yesterday.

Make you feel like you live in the tropics, even in the heart of Bangkok. :)

Great image, farangrakthai. By the way, why did you change your user name? Bad karma from AF?

I hope you are not going to spoil this board too.

Bad karma from AF?

I hope you are not going to spoil this board too.

And by the way, I never posted on AF. :)

Took this one from my office today.

One of the many unfinished buildings you have in Bangkok.

This one is along the Chao Phraya river.

Reminds me every day of the 1997 economic crisis.

Very nice one Fred indeed. :D

:D Thanks. I'm not much of a photographer normally, but Thailand is just so darn beautiful. :)

Thailand is sure colourful, and well, if you like colours, it is sure beautiful :)

This one is not my best picture but the one from my youngest son, 4 years old.

I think we should give our camera to young, very young people, more often.

They see the world in a different way, or at least, from a different angle... :D

One of the soldier at the Grand Palace.
