Books/vcds To Teach Younger Kids English

Can anyone suggest suitable books/VCDs/resources that can help younger kids (age say 5-12 years) to learn to speak basic English outside of a classroom environment?

If one considers the street kids/poverty level kids, I guess they get very little opportunity to learn some basic English, which could help them in a small way to improve their job/money prospects in the future.

Andrew Biggs publishes a learn English book for beginners 'Somsak hates somtam', and there are also the wall posters of the English alphabet, fruits, animals etc

but perhaps others could suggest other VCDs or books?
