Any Best Local Cheap Food In Bangkok List ?

Featured Replies

Is there any thread or site that list the best or most popular of local food in Bangkok ?

I know of a street stall in Suriwongse not far from the night market outside a big office building selling stewed chicken and feet; but I am quite tired of eating the same supper every night.

I am told there are also famous stewed pork and chicken rice in Silom Rd, anyone know where is it ?

Anyone know which is the most famous local food stall/shop in Chinatown ?

Which is the best local stall/shop to eat:

1) A type of mixed pork and pigs stuffs in a clear soup with some green vegetables

2) Basil leaves fried with shrimps or other meat.

3) Tom Yam soup(clear type).

4) Rice with mutiple cooked dishes to select.

I will be grateful to give you a treat :) if anyone can recommend such food in convenient places around city centres.

I think you're referring to the shop in Silom Soi 4 for stewed chicken or duck over rice. They also have stewed beef and ox tongue as well. Quite popular with the lunch crowd. Pour on the hot chilli sauce; it's delicious.

Unfortunately, I don't think it's opened for dinner. Silom Soi 4 gets really rowdy at night.

Thanks but i am told it is a roadside stall at the main road. Have you heard about it ? Maybe the one you mentioned is even better.
