BANGKOK: -- The Pheu Thai Pary chairman has made some confusing remarks, ruling out violent activities and a coup over the Thaksin case verdict, but warning against possible bomb attacks.

Chairman of the Pheu Thai Party, General Chavalit Yongchaiyudh, ruled out violent activities or a military coup on February 26th when the court is scheduled to read the verdict in the 76-billion baht asset freeze case against ousted former prime minister Thaksin Shinawatra.

Speaking after the party's regular meeting, he urged the public to carefully demonstrate their opinions and not to resort to violence.

However, General Chavalit said further bomb attacks like those at the Supreme Court and an educational institute near the Government House could be possible if the political situation remains turbulent.

The Pheu Thai chairman also criticized suspended Army specialist Major General Khattiya Sawasdipol for having spoken in a way that threatens the judiciary.

He reserved comments on the remarks by red-shirt group key leader Nuttawut Saikuea which claimed that the Privy Council chief General Prem Tinsulanonda has allegedly been receiving millions of baht in checks from undisclosed parties.

The master of logic speaks and we all float high in utter joyous disbelief!

Could it be so, can he have prognosticated the future, as well as he did in 1997?

The seer and oricle and Supreme Commander sees all and knows all

and we can not relax and get back to spending tourist dollars and rutting.

Yowza!

So when is a bombing at least not potentially violent?

Do you ever wonder why so many of these bombs are found before they have exploded?

It would appear that the authorities are at the very least prewarned.

I'd like to hear his assessment of WW2 "On the whole, violence free, just a number of bomb attacks and shootings to disturb what was otherwise a peaceful time".

Nice to know we can all sleep peacefully at night and go about our busines without fear due to the connections and indeed profound thoughts of General Chavalit.

This country is an equal opportunity for violence. Doesn’t he know he could be the next target?

Well it's not the first time chavalit has contradicted himself in the same sentence.

On the other hand, I'm just wondering whether he's had second thoughts about his actions and statements over the last few weeks. Perhaps he's realized that he's been backing a loser.

As for sae daeng, chavalit was his buddy just a few days ago, now trying to disown him.

How about before the 26th or after the 26th is it still going to be peaceful?

This is boring me my red and yellow shirts have been gathering dust for the last few years.

It's media fear mongers... Trying to keep up, but the soup thickens, like some nice RatNa Gai:

- M79 grenade (military equipment) :)

- 3lb bomb on a lawn next to judiciary building

- chamber of commerce ASKING for enforcement of security act / martial law

- foreign tourists warned to STAY AWAY from Thailand

- now there is going to be peace (under martial law?!?) but maybe more bombs?!?

Just see this as a run up to some 'invented' events that might reshuffle the state...

looks just like - Gulf of Tonkin - Pearl Harbor - 9/11

all the same false flag B$

and the media is doing the drills

You forgot...

Thaksin warning about a city in flames.

Sae Daeng warning about attempts on the judges lives

Palop and Sae Daeng declaring a "People's Army" after a trip to Dubai

Sae Daeng threating the lives of Abhisit and his family.

There is little reason to doubt the authenticity of these events.

Maybe we misread "bomb" attacks for "bum" attacks, which is well, wide open for speculum, er, speculation. Everybody watch out for bomb AND bum attacks....

At 11 am today (monday, Feb. 22), I drove past dozens of empty buses, trucks and, alarmingly, dozens of empty care transporters double parked alongside Bang Na Trat (pretty close to the Nation offices in fact) spread out over more than a kilometer. Scores of cops were keeping the traffic moving past this stationery convoy. Anyone have any idea what this is all about?
