February 17, 201016 yr Dear fellow Thai Visa users, I've got an Australian friend who's been wanting to drink some slurpee beer. You know, the one where the bottle has been chilled in a swirling tank of ice water to crystalise the water particles within the beer to produce the coldest undiluted beer you can possibly drink. I went to Suan Lum Night Bazaar for this once but for some reason they weren't doing it that day. My question here is, my dear forum friends, are there any other places in the downtown area that serves this refreshing elixir or am I in need of traveling to some outskirt region like Kaset-Nawamin? regards, Thirsty writer.
February 17, 201016 yr The Tong Ton Beer Garden has a couple of rigs set up to create what they call snow beer. The combination of ice, water and salt result in a water temperature that will remain very cold even after the beers are placed in it. I can't give you good directions but the Taxi Drivers know it. Generally speaking you take Sukhumvit to Thong Lor, Thong Lor to Petchaburi, Right on Petchaburi and go East a couple of Kilometers then a left turn and Tong Ton is down on the right hand side. The logo on the sign appears to be the roof of a Thai house. Cheers!
February 18, 201016 yr Try Beer Hima near Bon Marche market near Wat Samien-Naree Temple. You can do that at home, you know. It's simply supercooled beer. My guess is the pressure has something to do with it. Must consult phase diagram for lager beer! P.S. I thought foreigners hate slushy beer. Apparently, some don't.
February 18, 201016 yr The Beer God would not be Happy. Drink it like a man. Room Temp. 55555555 hahahahahha
