PATTAYA:--A police sting operation on Thursday, led to the death of one police officer with another seriously injured in a shooting outside the Harbor Mall in Laem Chabang. The suspect has a string of prior convictions which include robbery and murder.

There are so many things wrong with this tragic incident. I just cannot understand how it could have gone so badly, unless the police were assuming the suspect would surrender without a fight.

Rip to the deceased but from the article this reads as a bad job.

if he had convictions for robbery and Murder, and only being 24, why the hel_l was he onthe streets???????? , surly murder in thailand carries a min sentance of at least 15- 20 years??? , was this another case of someone who has ' Paid ' his way out of a sentance???? , if this is the case , i hope they get down to the bottom of who released him for a bit of ' Tea ' money ' as they are as guilty as the shooter !

Ohh dear, very sad, I hope they catch this vermin and get him off the streets asap.
