this should get under the skin of some of you lot out their. i know its over a year old, but hey its almost songkran!

He can't sing for the life if his, and the girls can't dance. What is this, some kind of look-tung rap? :)

The funny part is his popularity! I have Laotian friends here who have his karaoke CD's

He's cute. That may be the reason.

dont think husband leans in that direction... he just likes the words and the beat

although lately we've been listening to a lot of kmen stuff w/o either of us understanding the dialect (buriram khmen, not the pure language)

:) Nice misunderstanding. No, I didn't mean to implicate anything about your husband. I meant the popularity in general. Like the winners of the talent show in Thailand (The Star etc) are usually cute guys, because the majority of the audiance are teenage girls.

I wouldn't know any song. But Buriram Khmer is not the same language as the Khmer spoken in Cambodia, and I don't know whether they can even understand each other. But a discussion about this would belong on a language forum, I guess.

i know the differences; :) actually tried to download some real kmer stuff cause i couldnt find the thai /kmen stuff (i loked in some asia mp3 song sites) and he was quick about 'turn it off sounds horrible'... he wants the surin/buriram khmen sound.... the more 'country' stuff, not the pop/rock stuff....

i was joking also...:D not worried about his 'leanings' apart from when he is drinking vodka :D then he just leans previous to falling...:D

Can't say I have gotton into Thai music.

Issan music is a bit predictable, same old story.

Thai pop can be fun & is normally well produced.

I can't take Thai heavy metal serious. Don't know why.
