The Bird Flu Map

Featured Replies

I think it would be good if we could see some map of illness. While people are looking for jobs in Thailand, for a new semester, i think they should have here, in this forum, all relevant informations about provinces where is illness in progress.

According to my friends in Mukdahan province, Ampher Muang, 22 is in hospital and 2 persons died already. They were students. Also, Khon Kaen province closed one school in Sri Kranuan place, for some 2 weeks. Teachers from there told me that 2 kids died there, too.

So, if they have a map of illness here, it would be easier for all of them who are looking for new town to move. I think mods could supply all of us with those updated informations.

I think this information is irrelevant. The common "flu" is by far the worlds biggest killer. Unless you are elderly, immuno compromised or very young, there is not a great deal to worry about.

When deciding to work in SE Asia, you are deciding to work in a environment with diseases and viruses that you have never encountered.

I never took a malaria pill in my life, but I did get Dengue fever.

The flues are nothing to worry about for the typical aged person who does ESL, just be smart and if you feel sick, do something about it.

Also, you never know what area is going to be hit.

I decided to live in CM, 2 years went by and the there was a massive outbreak of Dengue.

Off-topic post deleted. This is a teaching forum. It's not a 'let's argue with anybody about anything' forum. Next person trying it will get a posting holiday.
