Direct Inward Dial (did)

Featured Replies

Anyone know if you can get a VOIP local Direct Inward Dial (DID) in Bangkok?

ie: a local phone number in Bangkok where people can call to contact me via VOIP.

Looking through the company sites here Thai VOIP Providers I can't see any with a local "DID". :o

There's another thread going on about VOIP.

VOIP is technically illegal in Thailand so no one is providing the service (they get locked up if they do).

Yes, I already know. I have read that thread which has many opinions on whether it is illegal or not.

My question still stands.

Also, I'm sure Aussies read here, this is the cheapest Oz->Thai I have found and currently use it reliably.

Thailand Bangkok: A$ 0.0463/min

Thailand Mobile: A$ 0.0669/min

FYI that site doesn't work well with Firefox.

skype have an incoming call facility now. Have a look at skype.com. It might still be in the beta stage though.
