Jingthing Posted March 24, 2010 Posted March 24, 2010 The place (from the outside) always reminded me of an American corporate chain suburban edge city blandatorium. Won't be missed.
CGW Posted March 24, 2010 Posted March 24, 2010 I went in - once - they, according to some American friends have the best hamburger in town..........
prefabs Posted March 24, 2010 Posted March 24, 2010 The place (from the outside) always reminded me of an American corporate chain suburban edge city blandatorium. Won't be missed. It is part of an American corporate chain and, as you remind us all of an American Corporate experiment which has gone wrong. I have been in HJBs several times and, although pricier than other parts of town was always pleased to find good air conditioning, good service, reasonable food and a good selection of beers. I am sure one will also appreciate the lack of annoying ladies offering various services whilst having a quiet afternoon drink.
