stevemck
My wife is coming in to Suvarnabhumi Airport tomerrow at 11 AM. I'm driving from Phethaburi and need to follow the highways through Bangkok to get there. What is the protest doing to the Highway traffic? is it backed ip on to the freeways? If so I'll start earlier and go around Bangkok. Thanks in advance for any help. Steve
CNF55
Coming from Phetchaburi you should leave Rama II at 'Phra Pradaeng' and take the new bridge which will take you to Suvarnabhumi in no time - whole trip should not take more than 1.5 hours - max. 2. No need to drive through Bangkok at all.
Meridian007
Try any of these websites, they give a pretty good display of traffic: http://traffic.thai.net/ http://traffy.nectec.or.th/wtraffy/ http://www.trafinfo.net/ you have to click on "Real Time" on this page.
