St Theresa Inti College

Featured Replies

Been offered a job at their Nakhon Nayok (not Rangsit) campus, don't smell right, anyone any previous experience?

I don't know much about St. Theresea's but I did work with a teacher who had previously worked for them and then went to work for us. Unfortunately, he had to travel (transportation was provided) from one campus to the other. He wasn't happy with the school, but he never had any specific complaints. After a little over a year with us, he eventually retired, but he said it seemed that most schools seemed to be about the same. It was more a matter of changing things he didn't like at one school for some things he didn't like at the other.

The traveling was a problem for him. He had to do some special and Saturday classes, sometimes without notice. He did get paid well (actually took a pay cut to work for us), he did have a work permit etc. He answered a lot to the Thai admin rather than a foreign head of studies, which was his biggest problem.

We don't name and shame schools here, so posters should take care in posting.

Oh, I haven't spoken to the guy for a few weeks, but I will try and get a hold of him and post it here. I am not sure if he's still in the area or not.

I can tell you that he was a pretty structured person and quite honorable. He left on good terms (didn't finish his contract) and he was in contact with them after he started with us. I know he wrote all his exams and graded them for the school even though he wasn't still employed.
