Secondly, if you stop and think about it, what makes this land of smiles so sweet? Is its laid back, easy going, not too many rules nature ?

If you want a lot of over done, unwanted, kill the small businsss set of rules then maybe truck on back to your homeland where the got plenty!!

Apparrently any thai can set up next to a public road so long as not causing an obstruction or danger etc. no tax or tea money supposedly required, but, if in the way or close to some ones land someone might try to hussle you, or police could try it on too, only way to tell is try and see what happens.

Even if you are buddy buddy with the local cops, the cops from another part of town will bust you for bail out cash...

Why not pay a cop to tell you the rules first... or even see if they will do it for 'free'!
