I am trying to plan a trip for the kids today... Where are the hot zones so to speak? Or Where is the thread that tells me what is happening today?

95% of Bangkok is red-shirt free, so there ought to be no problems if you wish to avoid them. At the moment the red-shirts are mainly located at just two places - unfortunately though they are at or very near tourist hot-spots.
