Rachiwithi Road - Victory Monumnet

I live down Rachiwithi Road in Victory Monumnet , all i heard yesterday was gun fire & explosions , i had to get out this morning to stock up on water.food etc.....the road has been blocked off both ends ,cars have been torched , now i know this might be a silly question , but does anyone know why this has been hit ,as im sure other roads have aswell, but they've stopped access to this road for a reason , a thai national said someone is staying in the hotel opposite with a gun ,so this could be a very good reason , but if anyone has anymore concrete info ......it would be much appreicated

It seems if you are in the war zone you are affected , but when you are out everything seem to be normal., but it will stay that way long, if people outside if the area stay indifference about what is happening in their country. Bunch of thugs listening to another idiot Thug outside of Thailand, Thaksin and destroying 11 million life’s for his gain.
