Police Complaint made following BB Gun Shooting Incident involving Civil Volunteer

PATTAYA:-- Over the weekend, a 16 year old boy, accompanied by his Mother, made a complaint to Police Lieutenant Colonel Tarataep, the Deputy Chief of Pattaya Police regarding an incident that occurred involving a group of civil volunteers known in Thai as “O-po-po-lor”. The boy explained that he was driving his motorbike on the Sukumvit Road close to the Tepprasit Road intersection in Jomtien. He was being followed by a white Toyota Vigo pick-up which had activated a red light bar, similar to that used by Police Vehicles. The boy was ordered to stop but he realized this was not a Police vehicle and therefore was not empowered to stop him.
