Travelling To Airport During Curfew...

Featured Replies

Have just been watching news and news stated that anyone travelling to airport for flights during the hours of the curfew imposed due to situation in Bangkok at the moment, that people need to have passport and airtickets with them and they will be allowed if stopped at checkpoints by authorities to continue with their journey...

No news on people who may be on incoming flights to Thailand at the moment...

Safe journey to all those travelling.

I have to drive a visitor to the airport : I hope that with my farang face and EU passport I can pass without having tickets

yaaa.... it was more a joke..... I see he is from Nonthaburi and won't pass my area most probably..... apart from that, he was listed as OFFLINE already when I posted my reply..... but thanks for the hint....

I will call 1681 first, and if they don't have a car, will walk to the main road 800 meters and see if a cab comes along..... still plenty of time..... didn't sleep this night anyway..... I am emotionally too agitated.... I wonder how many others feel the same....

1681 only has a recorded message on offer at this moment..... which I do not understand with my mediocre Thai :-(

Keep us updated as I'm coming at Midnight on Cebu Pacific, need to get to Sukhumvit 71!!!! Don't want to sleep on some airport floor done to many times before

just get a taxi - because you have just landed you are excused to travel during curfew. Travelling to/from the airport is an exception, just show your stamped passport/ticket/boarding pass
