Thailand Considers Law Revisions to Attract Foreign Real Estate Investment
Yes. That tax thing is quite a large unknown. Even if the dollars and cents become not an issue, the alleged and possible need to report income, provide tax records, argue about capital losses or net gains, or deductions etc. will stop a lot of actions by many people. I know that when i retire in February of next year I will not be spending the 180 days in thailand. Not a big deal but it will require me to sort out my living here in the USA with any long term rental in Thailand differently than i was planning. I remember back in 2004 when I was so going to buy a condo in Pattaya. It would have been OK for about a dozen years but as my work and time habits changed, then COVID, and not to mention whatever problems might have cropped up such as crazy neighbors, condo maintenance not happening, immigration paperwork for my visa, etc.. I am glad I did not buy. So many less headaches. -

I get it, but it can create a first impression of a place you are visiitng. Ever been to the gulag of a an unorganized/old place like LAX? And all the transportation issues there it is really depressing. I was just at Incheon airport what a beautiful place and so easy to navigate. -

Sad to see Thai xenophobia as prevalent as ever. Will this clampdown include Chinese/Indian and Soviet funded businesses under Thai nominees? Perhaps other countries should impose strict controls on Thais owning any sort of business interest and property overseas in other countries. (Leicester City would be well screwed). -

Global P/E Ratios.
Germany is in recession with many problems and people dont want a VW or BMW. Brazil? who cares. The U.S. is the only game for the future 27 is a little high but with lower interest rates, Trump, tax cuts, Billions sitting in fixed income lots of money will be pouring in the he markets in the coming months. If PE is your deal look at the small caps PE is good now.
