Here is the info from the tranportation department located on Hang Dong Road next to Big C.

I'm sorry, but I find it hard to believe that any country that has a 'proper 'driving test would allow a Thai to drive there, without first taking a test..

I certainly wouldn't!!...but I don't make the rules.
