I predict

The fight will start all over again in less than 3 months.

More killings

More buildings destroyed

UN will Begin to call Thailand a Rouge nation state

Paid propaganda machine will just keep controlling TV, Radio, print, and the INTERNET.

Meltdown of this place is inevitable.

It is only a matter of when.

Yes, maybe that will be the case

And if that turns out to be true as you say, lets hope you dont forget your part in it with your threatening and inflamatory statements

Know something to be shared with the authorities do you Ern

Nice to see that the police can understand what the SOE is for, by arresting blind people protesting the allocation of lottery tickets. The BIB are a bunch of ...........

Front page, the paper we cannot talk about.

Handicapped protesters threaten to join UDD

BANGKOK, 8 June 2010 (NNT) — More than 100 handicapped people gathered in a mob in front of the Government House this morning calling for the government to allocate a fair quota of lottery tickets.

Disappointed members of the Association of the Physically Handicapped (APH) came to demand justice on the allocation of lottery tickets, citing that the majority of the lotto tickets were distributed to middlemen rather than distributing it to handicapped people nationwide.

Yesterday the lotto committee and the APH failed to reach conclusions to solve the issue.

The angry protesters said that if the government does not resolve the issue, they will join hands with the anti-government Untied Front of Democracy Against Dictatorship (UDD).

Local Red Shirt leader shot dead in Nakhon Ratchasima

NAKHON RATCHASIMA, June 10 (TNA) - A local leader of the anti-government Red Shirt movement was killed by gunmen on Wednesday night in this northeastern province.

Pol Col Wicharawit Kritrittasak, deputy commander of the Nakhon Ratchasima provincial police said Sakrin Kongkaew, 24, was shot dead in Buayai municipality.

Col Wicharawit said investigators questioned witnesses and collected circumstantial evidence, but no one could give clear description of the gunmen as the attack occurred at night, and it was hard to see the faces of the attackers.

According to the initial investigation, the police believed there were at least two assailants and the motive behind the killing was presumed to be linked to personal or political conflict.

Mr Sakrin also known as Uan Buayai, a key Red Shirt leader in Nakhon Ratchasima, was earlier summoned to report to the authorities at Suranaree army camp here on May 2.

The Red Shirts staged a mass rally in Bangkok from mid March to May 19 when they dispersed from the Ratchaprasong area following a military operation to retake the protest site amid shopping malls and business offices.

Some angry protesters torched 39 spots in the capital, while Red Shirt supporters burned provincial halls in four northeastern provinces. (TNA)

LOL! Agreed, they wouldn't take on armed red shirts, but they'll take on blind lottery ticket vendors. A very brave and upstanding bunch indeed!

Suthep: Govt never giving order to kill UDD members

BANGKOK, 11 June 2010 (NNT) – The government was not involved with the death of Mr Chakarin Krongkaew, a leading member of the United Front of Democracy Against Dictatorship (UDD) group in Nakhon Ratchasima.

Deputy Prime Minister for Security Affairs Suthep Thaugsuban stated that the government had no policy to kill innocent people. However, he said he had already urged police officers to probe the fatality of Mr Chakarin as well as arrest the killers as soon as possible.

Mr Chakarin, alias "Uan Bua Yai", 24, a close aid of UDD core leader, Suporn Attawong, was shot dead in the northeastern province of Nakhon Ratchasima on 10 June 2010.

Earlier, the National Human Rights Commission accused the government of violating human rights by keep enforcing the state of emergency in 24 provinces.

Mr Suthep responded that the commission could examine whether the special law was still needed for the current situation or not. He said the law imposition did not violate human rights of people as alleged, and he was ready to provide proof that the law was in need.

CRES: Emergency Decree remains necessary

BANGKOK, 11 June 2010 (NNT) - The declaration of the State of Emergency is still needed in an effort to maintain peace and order in the country, according to the government's Center for the Resolution of the Emergency Situation (CRES).

In his capacity as the CRES Director, Deputy Prime Minister Suthep Thuagsuban chaired a meeting of the center on Friday with the attendance of several high-ranking government authorities. The session focused on a discussion on the necessity of the continuation of the Emergency Decree in Bangkok and 23 other provinces.

The CRES resolved to continue imposing the State of Emergency in all designated zones in a bid to prevent recurrences of the anti-government movements, which were still evident in some areas. In addition, the center has urged the National Security Council (NSC) to speedily compile all evidence and information related to the 19 May riots and distribute them to the public in the form of VCDs.

The key state officials present at the meeting included Defense Minister Prawit Wongsuwan, Permanent Secretary for Defense General Apichart Penkitti, Army Chief General Anupong Paochinda, Navy Chief Admiral Kamthorn Phumhiran, Air Force Chief Air Chief Marshal Itthiporn Supawong, Deputy Army Chief General Prayuth Chanocha, Assistant Army Chief General Teerawat Boonyapradap, Assistant Army Chief General Wit Thephasdin na Ayudhya and Army Chief-of-Staff General Pirun Paewpolsong.

What do you use to read tv with yer head in sand, a periscope?

Wonder if you were one of the hecklers of the few of us, last year, were publising warnings of the size of the coming red storm?

How exactly is the situation, back to ABnormal, any less volitile? Ernie gave some details, you gave 'squat'.

In addition to what EB, said.

They've given the red side martyrs.

Sondhi and Thaksin are still not in jail.

NObody is talking about the main reason for the troubles.

I have no idea who JS is but if he thinks Thailand is on the verge of breaking up, did he give reasons?

Instead of your usual one liners, explain why you think Thailand is on the road to peace and stabilty.

Anybody who reads almost any TV News thread can see it is NOT.
