Woman fears for her life following repeated gun attacks on here East Pattaya home

PATTAYA: -- On Thursday Morning a group of local journalists were called to a house located in the East of Pattaya to inspect damage caused after a shooting incident. The owner of the house is Khun Tararak aged 45, the owner of a Gay Bar in the Jomtien area. In March of this year, she borrowed 400,000 Baht from a well-known illegal money lender to fund renovation work at the bar. She agreed to pay back the money plus interest of 8,000 Baht per day. She has already paid the lender around 700,000 Baht which only covers the interest but has failed to pay back the 400,000 Baht as her current financial situation is not good. On 2nd April the lender demanded immediate payment of 200,000 Baht of the original loan which she was unable to pay. The lender apparently sent some men to her house and shots were fired at the property. The woman was told not to report the incident to Police as they would not do anything because the lender

I doubt if she can stop them from collecting. She should have never borrowed it from such a source. Now the only thing she can do is find the money from another source and pay them back.
