World Cup Opening Ceremony?

Does anyone know what time and channel the opening ceremony will be shown? True HD? Nothing in the guides that I can find!

First game is tonight at 9 or 930 i think, therefore, one can assume the opening ceremony would happen before that.

if thailand were in it then maybe i guess. or perhaps if the opening ceremony had a load of ghosts mysteriously appear in soft focus.

That was the pre-World Cup concert.

The proper opening ceremony is at 7.00 this evening, I think. I doubt this will be on Thai TV because it would interrupt the 8pm programming. The match is on Channel 3 from 8.30 (kick off 9pm).

Whether True HD or any of the other channels will have the ceremony I don't know.
