Before doing a sugar and cholesterol test one should fast for about 12 hours. But is one allowed to take tranquillizers during those 12 hours ? Since high cholesterol levels can be caused by stress, could taking a tranquillizer have influence on such a test, or maybe not on a very short term ? Just curious, anyone who knows ?
