Navy narcotics team arrest 3 suspected drug dealers

PATTAYA: -- On Wednesday, we spent the day with the Royal Thai Navy Narcotics Unit as they continue their daily fight against the use and distribution of illegal drugs in Sattahip and surrounding areas. Their day began early at 6am with the arrest of Khun Arunsee aged 36 as she met an undercover operative in front of the Egthanee Village 2 in Plu Ta Luang, on the outskirts of Pattaya. She had sold 4 Yabba Tablets to the operative for 1,200 Baht. The bank notes had been photocopied by the officers previous to the operation and the serial numbers on the notes were matched with the copies they had taken. She was asked about her supplier and was more than happy to give up his name.

Why are you running all these stories about Plu Ta Luang? It is an hours bus ride south of Pattaya. It is south of Sattahip and closer to Rayong than Pattaya. That's why the Navy cops are in all of these stories. It is a Navy problem. Nothing to do with Pattaya or tourists or ex pats.

It was also on Pattaya news One, call them and demand to know why they are running it.

It's obvious Pattaya one news are idiots. I didn't think the same applied to TV.

I think as the local Pattaya news gets less news papers look further afield for something to fill their pages, Pattaya One News brings us four items of news every day six days a week, not an easy task when little is happening on your doorstep so's to speak.

As a matter of interest I and a lot of other people live half way between Pattaya and Satahip so these items whilst not being of interest to your average tourist in town are certainly of interest to the many people that live in

Ban Ampur, Bang Saray and Sattahip who also read this board.
