tomparis Posted July 5, 2010 Posted July 5, 2010 I would like to register a .co.th website. This would be for either an individual based in thailand, or for a french company which could provide a letter of approval (but the domain is a generic word and though related to the company is not trademarked). on the TH NIc website it seems to imply that I could register the domain - has anyone else experience in this? I would probably not need hosting as this would be provided by an existing supplier. thanks - Tom
siamect Posted July 7, 2010 Posted July 7, 2010 Domain for commercial entities and business entities. Applicants for domain names under this category must be commercial entities which are either registered within Thailand. A foreign company which is not so registered may only apply for such a domain name if it has a representative in Thailand and this local representative must itself be registered within Thailand and be authorised by the foreign company to apply for the registration of the domain name Please read domain policies http://www.thnic.net...php?page=policy
