It was so nice at 7am I decided to take the dog out to the local dam instead of the well worn trails around the village.

You shamed me into following your lead, Scea. Took three of the dogs on a walk to the dam, though not as early as you. It was cool in the shade with a nice breeze but the blistering sun was something else on the way home.

I have plastered far too many pictures of our reservoir and trails online, so thought better of it on the day. Wouldn't want to compete with Scea's pretty pics. ;)

Beautiful indeed. You have the photo thing down pat. I will work on my abilities to capture the moment rather than inhale it all!

My technique is based on quantity rather than quality.

I work on the theory that if I take 20 pics, I may get a couple of keepers.

Digital cameras were made for people like me. (You may notice that a couple still need a little photo-shopping to straighten them up).
