You may have to submit several photos of the King.

The ones printed on the 1000 baht notes seem to be the most popular.

What do you mean by, "they can not make the clearing"?? Why not?

I only had one problem with importing a gun once, but I simply said the magic words, "Kaw chuay noi, dai mai khrap?", and the result meant that I paid less money, but there wasn't any record kept...

they request pictures of the goods, a catalog or broschure with the goods. A detailed describtion, for what it is (hard on electronic components).

Than FedEx or UPS is telling everything fine.

Than after 3 days we call again, than they come with something new.....

And so on after 10-14 days we tell to return it.

Last time at electronic chips there was wire included, which makes the customs clearing impossible.....

Once they wanted for a pack of CDs (with software) 100 pcs word 250 US$, 1000 US$ import tax (40000 THB). We then sent a guy there who make the clearing instead of UPS and he brought it down to 4000 THB.

So it would be great if I can find such a freelancer customs clearing guy again.

I heared that FedEx and UPS don't want to pay their under the table commission to the officers, therefore there are problems.

But I am not really a specialist on that.

I really belive that customs guys are afraid about people with guns :-)
