I am enquiring if anyone has had any experience of using the Immigration Office in Phitsanoluk ?

I am considering going to apply for extention to Non O, based on marriage.

I know the usual criteria for this but as we know from other threads here they can vary from office to office.

Anyone got any feedbackj please ?

Plenty of info on TV about this new office.

Friend of mine went last week for marriage extension and had to take the head man from the village to verify he lived with his wife.

He got his months under consideration but they are thorough with the paperwork!!

Might be a good idea to telephone to see what they want!.

Retirement extensions not too much of a prob.

If the traffic is busy down by the river and you cannot park by the immigration office, use the large Post Office across the road, they have a good food & drink set up there too!

I have had no problem with this office - but only did my 90 reports and got a re-entry permit there. My last non O marrige was from Nan. Never heard of them requiring a headman to go prove a home address. I go with everything ready and I smile and act nice and patient. I have a friend that has had some problems there, but if things do not go his way he gets mad and raises his voice. I think this behavior will beget problems anywhere in Thailand. I will go for my new non O marriage in three weeks and will report on that experience then.
