Since I am about to eat a lot of raw vegetables I would like to have some opinions about how to clean them. Do you rinse and soak with water, use vinegar, or use a vegetable wash liquid ?

vegetable wash liquid?

Isn't that "water"?

A good thorough rinsing with pure water should be enough.

If you are unsure, why not bring water to a boil, drop the veggies in a for a minute to eliminate surface contaminants?

Many of the pesticides etc are oil based, so washing them in a suitable detergent makes sense, I think there are commercially available one that claim to be ? organic?? biodegradable? you name it. If it's salad ,clearly you can't boil it.

Better still to avoid fruit from China! .

1. Clean with Sodium bicarbonate (for make bread) 1 tablespoon with 20 L. of water. Leave it 15 mins.

2. Use vinegar 0.5% 1 bottle with water 4 L. Leave it 15 mins.

3. Use salt 2 tablespoon with water 4 L.

4. Use water from washing rice.

Somebody said use Charcoal (for your BBQ) put into the water with vegetables and leave it. Then rinse again with clean water.
