In a flash I thought I saw some signpost that they are opening a Burger King in the airport before customs.

Anybody knows its open or just advertising for the one in the night bazaar?

In the U.S.A. Burger King uses better beef and is superior to McDonald's (IMHO), but in Thailand they both use the same lousy beef and McDonald's is quite a bit cheaper for a set meal. If the quality and taste is very similar, I rather pay less - all things considered.

I know we are talking semantics, garbage bin, garbage can. First choice even in Thailand BK but if they are not to be had the Golden Arches.

I'll have a McD's if I'm desperate and stumble across one but I'll go out of my way for a BK. ;) Thanks for the info since the Airport is quite close to where I work. So, how much for 30 minute parking at the airport or however long it takes to place an order to go?

The Airport Burger king is on the second floor.

Ulysses is right about Mac's being a better deal, but of course they don't have full size burgers here, and BK does.

2nd floor above domestic but along the corridor towards international. Replaced the Sports Bar (don't remember its name).

How about the Double Beef Big Mac? ;)

but those patties are wafer thin. I prefer fewer but thicker slabs for more beefy goodness.

What I really wish they had here is the quarter pounder.

You need to go back to where you had lunch today,,,,,,,, I wont mention any names, buuuuuttttt; I hear that their burger patties are considerably larger than the quarter pounder...and in a world of their own

A wife says to her husband you're always pushing me around and talking

behind my back. He says what do you expect? You're in a wheel chair.

I will be back to check on those other worldly burgers, but the giant tacos today were a good indication that you are telling the truth. :P

Airport parking is free & easy for motorcycles. Cheap for cars too probably not more than 10 baht. True about having to pass security.

I only went to that BK once, hoping for a nice 9 baht BK cone. I love that totally fake milk taste. But to my dismay and horror, they don't sell the BK cone in the airport branch.

I would have to agree with you. However I do not find the taste that close. My taste buds are not that discerning but they can see the difference here.

My understanding is Burger King uses tvp in their burgers and maccas 100% meat products. Maybe you like soy bean and flavourings UG

BK offers free wifi to customers.

Now, the khao soi in the official big Thai restaurant, next door to BK, is DELICIOUS.

ThaiVisa, c'est aussi en français

Sorry about your sad loss Gonzo.

I was just worried about aviation safety. Can you image Air Traffic Control as the float plain turns final in the Ping....Traffic multiple mosquitos beware wake turbulance clear to land if you can find the water surface.
