What'S Happened To True Iptv...

Featured Replies

I was browsing around the True family of web sites tonight, and went looking to the link for True's IPTV service, such as it is/was...

And, to my surprise, the link for IPTV even on the True main corporate web page now points to an entirely different page...

The link and the page title still say "True IPTV."

But all that web content is gone and now replaced with a placeholder page that says only "HD Web Coming Soon."

Geez, True can't even (barely) deliver any HD content over their cable network.

I'm really wondering how they're planning to deliver anything remotely HD like via the (their) Internet???

Ahh....it must be related to True's new supposed Ultra High Speed Internet service, being offered at a few buildings around town, at 3600 (30 Mbps) to 5600 baht (50 Mbps) per month....

I see this HD related language in their promo page for the Ultra High Speed service.... It may be that speed locally here in Thailand, but I see can't see them offering anything close to those speeds for international streaming connections....

One wonders what level of service they can deliver when it seems they can't even manage their own websites and offers properly....
