MoonRiverOasis
I've just finished compiling all the market data for H1 2010, and seeing as PPV* sales data is never in the public domain, though I'd share a little March was a huge month for Toyota due to the BKK International Motor Show (where > 12K vehicles were sold), but a combination of supply issues, rumors of production moves, and aggresive competitor marketing has for the first time ever seen Fortuner losing substantial market share in this segment. * PPV is the Thai classification for 7-seat SUV's based on pickup trucks
MoonRiverOasis
Thats a substantial drop for Toyota, interesting. Thanks. There's quite a few interesting things happening in the TH car market ATM, but unfortunately I can't post it all. This one was particuarly severe though - will be interesting to see what it looks like next month..
