I Need To Split Tv Signal - 7 Tv'S Off 3 Receivers

oh, i forgot to add that i only need the tv's to show 3 separate stations at any one time, not seven different stations

Not sure what you want. Do you want all of the 7 TV's to be able to view all of the receivers or just some of the TV's to be limited to one of the receivers?

3 tv's to 1 receiver

2 tv's to 1 receiver

2 tv's to 1 receiver

hope that makes sense

What's the distance from receiver to the TV's ?

Not sure what you mean but if you use a 'standard' MATV broadband distribution amplifier it would give you up to 4 inputs in a broad frequency combined VHF/UHF range and up to 8 outputs, all amplified to regain the original signal strength.

There are plenty on the market and they are not expensive, I have used Labgear and Fagor, typically $40 for a 4x8 way unit.

They can give gains of up to 35dB using 75 Ohm standard coax for distribution. There used to be a 100 mtr restriction on each output but an 'in-line' amp would cure that problem for larger installations.

This would give you the ability to view any of the 3# inputs on any of the 7# TV's completely independently from each other. In fact you could use the 4th input to distribute a DVD station, music etc. Anything with a VHF/UHF component.

Each TV could be tuned to receive any or all inputs.

Hope this helps!

Simple thing would be to run a cable from the uhf out of the each receiver to the other TV's. One of which has extra tv so it would be split with a vhf/uhf passive splitter. Its a 3bd drop or Halfing the single but it should handle it if the cable is not that long. Whats showing on a receiver will be seen on all tv's connected to it. Just tune the other tv's to ch 42 uhf and they become monitors of what is on the receiver at any time. That is if the receiver are like the one I used to have and has the extra UHF connector output. :jap:
