My condolences to the deceased and hope for a speedy recovery for the injured.

What a sad way to start the Buddhist holiday.

Okay, just when I thought I had read or heard it all somebody decided to re-write the rules to the Policemans ball or was it a Navy party?

Sad that someones lost their life over such sillyness and excess whiskey, by the sounds of it. RIP.

Police officers here have an air of superiority. They can do anything and get away with anything. I had dinner with a large group of them about a year ago. One was a relative. A few in the group were obnoxious as heck. Treating the waitresses very bad, and really messing with the ladyboy waiter (waitress?). It was sad...these guys are suppose to protect the innocent, the weak...and yet they fully take advantage of it.
