Since this morning, access by trackers to the box.bz seems to have been blocked. I can access the website quite happily, but trying to download files using their torrents is being blocked somewhere in the network. I can still download from other sites, so my system is still functioning.

Having talked to support it seems that somebody somewhere is blocking part of the network traffic. Does anyone else use TheBox.bz (it is for UK TV programmes)

just logged onto TheBox and downloaded a torrent file (which I don't want, but just to see if it can be done)

Started the file download, no problem.

I'm on TOT

No block on TheBox here in Rayong on TOT, website, torrents or files.

It is down for me too.

If others can still access it, how can we fix this?

I can access it with TOT.It appears to be a 3BB problem.

I suggest you either contact your ISP or wait a few days. I'm sure they are working on it. There seems to be other problems with 3BB accessing other servers at the moment.

I'm uploading and downloading to Thebox with no problems using 3BB. It has been very slow over the weekend, but speeds picked up on Monday. I suspect they have been trying out some sort of throttling over the past few weeks as some days it's fine and others are just terrible, not normal torrent behaviour.

Problem solved - or at least gone away.

It was caused by the tracker site changing its DNS address, and the change being slow to propagate through 3BB.

All OK now.
