fang, I have to tell you i know jockstar the founder of this thread personally, a fine man but as his name suggests, not a native speaker of English.In the area of East Glasgow where he spent his formative years, the utterance of the number 4 at the end of a sentence was an abbreviation for,to put it politely 'get on with it, your turn', more graphically it means 'fer <deleted> saike, let's see what you've got',( probably comes from playing cards when the opponent wants to see your hand)
