Not as many as Webfact - 206 and counting... Would be good if we can get a list of members in reputation order, highest to lowest and vice-versa.

In advanced filters on member search you can sort by star rating

It is kind of funny to see how many members with 5 star ratings have been banned. :D

Yes I know - I was asking if we can have the same sort of thing for reputation. Possible? I did post a request in Forum Support, by the way, but it hasn't been replied to yet...

Yes but most of those are troll members, who's name is just "[Insert Mod name here] sucks" or similar and have 0 posts. Not sure who would have rated members like that with 5 stars though...

No idea dan, I suspect since its not on the forum now it may not be available, but I will point it out to our tech guys and see what they have to say.

I admit asking for greenies is asking for a red .But correcting a misquote deserves a green .

Think can be sort of fun with the colour system , now some can see what kind of posts people can affiliate with and which we don't .

Just hope that the revenge reds don't come into play as much , then the possible fun with it

diappears in my opinion .

Not funny, but understandable.

I suspect a fair number of them rejoin with new names and then give themselves rep points. which is actually pretty pathetic. but nevertheless, I am not a big fan of the reputation system tbh, for the same reasons as harcourt gives. I think it can lead to cliquey high school behavior.

For the first time in a while I agree with sbk's sentiments. :whistling:

The Points for Pals system is one of the main things wrong with TD. It became very ugly over there at times.

I bet they're laughing about TV adopting it too.

I have to laugh at the seriousness with which people are taking this. The rep doesn't appear unless you check someones profile in the first instance....and it has no bearing on what you can post or where. The only way to affect anything is the change threshold function and say setting it to 10 or 20 or whatever if we all did that it would create a situation with two conversations happening on every thread which is plainly ridiculous.

You gotta ask do any of us really care....I do....but only when it winds someone up!

My sentiments completely.

Just small mindedness.

Couldn't give hoot.

Geeeeeeeeeez

I wish to lodge a FORMAL COMPLAINT !!

People who best remain nameless have been assigning "greenies" (cough, pa-toey) to me. If this keeps up some people might start liking me (heaven forbid). Are you guys trying to ruin a well deserved reputation developed with painstaking effort over years ? Do I have to go around the forums giving myself "reddies" (as opposed to "readies") to combat this assault ? Enough, OK ? The next person who wants to feel like a samaritan is in for it, understood ?

Now, how can I delete greenies given to me already ? :realangry:

perhaps one positive , one could give a red to someone who you disagree with , without sending a reply post what could make you have a warning .

And when a mod closes a thread which you dislike you could red them for that also , or the other way around ,so actually we ' members' have gotten some more voting power without having to say anything or without getting any problems .....

Mainly so we can see who's current top (or, out of curiosity, bottom) of the reputation list, i.e. who's been given a "green" the most times. It might lead us to click into their history and see some good posts which have earned them other members' approval.

Good idea, except they can see who gave them the reds and are likely to retaliate in a more extreme manner.

Why would they ? They are always criticising the most of us showing ' childish ' behavior .

If they would retaliate you with extreme manner , now that would be really childish wouln't it ?

No I'll call it democratic right of opinion without having to say the reason why you red them , even when its that obvious , they mostly don't give the real reason of closing a thread also , but mostly I do agree actually , so they may earn many greens for the deed ...

it might ...

I am joking, but I would not take any chances. A pissed off mod never forgets.

Fear , fear is a bad master you know .

ah , you find it out the hard way .

Anyway we could make a quick poll asking the mods if they would retaliate in extreme manner , if they would feel angered getting a red from someone disagreeing without even arguing something or for them telling it is against the forum rules , its so tempting . :ermm:

Will you retaliate that particular poster in the near future ?

Ulyssus has got that fear you know ...... ;)

Didn't see you had reds in that thread Mig16 , lots of greens ...

fear , guess some could have nightmares on some of you guys , perhaps its the avatars .

No worries tijnebijn. your simple little red mark for closing a thread is nothing compared to the abuse i regularly receive via PM. In fact, something so mild would be welcome after the names i get called :)

Well that surprises some I guess , so its all clear for the reds now ,

there should be no fear . :D

And its obvious very awful for the abuse you are receiving SBK , I'm truly sorry for that ,

sometimes we may forget the hardship being a strict mod could be like on this forum ,

:jap: .

sbk is not a "strict mod" - she is one of the most fair. (I hope that she does not get you someday for that remark!) :P

UG........... You should set up the "TV Rockers" after all the kickings the Mods have given you over the yearssmile.gif
