Watching Espn In Thailand

Featured Replies

On September 6th I really, really want to watch a football game on ESPN (Actually September 7th here).

I have tried to use a proxy server and sign up to watch over espn.com but that is coming up empty. Are there any bars that show American football? Any ideas here would be much appreciated for watching over internet, on sattelite, or at a hotel/bar etc.

Thanks

True Vision broadcast the NFL on channel ASN exclusively in Thailand not ESPN. Look for any red dish and that's the location.

It might help if you told us which game you want to watch, and the local time (Thailand)?

The NFL kicks off the 2010 season on Thursday, September 9, 2010 with Min at NO 8:30 PM ET so 7:30 AM Friday morning here. There are a several bars which open early for the evening NFL games. There's one on Sukhumvit Soi 4, across from 7-11/Raja Hotel.

The only college games I see on Sep 6 (Labor Day) are:

Maryland at Navy (Baltimore) 3:00 p.m. ESPN (HD)

Boise State vs. Virginia Tech (Landover, MD) 7:00 p.m. ESPN (HD) / ESPN 3D

and I doubt those will be on ESPN locally; ESPN here is totally different from ESPN in the U.S. Maybe check the ASN schedule; I think they show college football games.
