PATTAYA: -- An attempted rapist was arrested by Police in Jomtien in the early hours of Saturday. The incident occurred at a rented room in Soi 2 off Jomtien Beach Road, occupied by Khun Arirat aged 32, a local food vendor. The suspected attacker, Khun Somgiet aged 29 had been admiring the victim for some time and decided to follow her to her room early on Saturday. He forced entry to her room and pushed her on the ground and placed his hands around her neck and punched her in her face.
