The Whistling Farang

Featured Replies

Greeting Trend Setters

Was in the city today and about 10 feet behind me I

heard a loud whistle. Not your average whistle using your

lips. I'm talking about a whistle you blow through.

Anyway, after the initial surprise, I watched him as he

walked up and down the street doing his thing.

Has anybody seen him or know the story?

Regards

Will

Nope never heard of him.

Tell us more ! where was he ? . Maybe (hopefully) he's just passing through .

What was 'His thing' exactly ? . Was he play acting being a Policeman or a referee or just anoyingly insane ?

I'd say he was in his fifties. I was not far from Da Vinci's when I fisrt encountered

the "whistle blower". His whistle sounded more like a dog retrieving whistle than

a soccer or AFL whistle. I assume he wasn't using it to call his wife:)

He just sauntered down the street giving it the odd blow. After leaving the shop

I was in, the wife and I saw him on the corner at the other end.

The wife asked me if he was ting tong.

Will

Hi gang

Was in town yesterday and today.

Saw the whistler both times but

today there was no whistle.

I'm wondering, maybe he's only a

Monday to Friday whistler and has

the weekends off? :D

maybe he was just looking for his dog?
