I have a standing lamp that needs rewiring and another which needs spot welding on the shade harp. Not difficult tasks, really, but I would rather have someone do the work who will do the tasks well.

Isn't  there anything on that map of CM everyone's raving about?

I could do it all in a flash but can't be assed as am semi-retired and don't have the time . There's a lamp shop down the Saraphi road near Ban Tawai - the one that goes from the Hang Dong road, east, bout halfway between Hang Dong and the Ban Tawai turn off. It's a large place on the left. They make the lamps, do the welding, and wire them up. When I was sourcing lampshades there, they plonked them on the bases for me (with metal road) and wired em up for about 250 a pop. Not a bad job and a decent set up, although the switches were crap.
