Apartment In Kanchanaburi

Featured Replies

My Thai niece has got a new job in Muang Kanchanaburi and I'm taking her down sometime next week to help her find accomodation. Any recommendations as to the best places in town? Obviously not anticipting a Bangkok style 200k a month condo but somewhere with aircon, cable, safe and clean.

Thanks a lot

IIRC there are limited blocks of apartments in the town of Kanchanaburi;

renting a townhouse would be easier

Thanks sulasno but I'd like her to have somewhere with some form of security for the families peace of mind.

There's a condo block behind Castle Mall - Memorial Hospital. Maybe that's what you're looking for. Or Preuksagarn estates nearby.

Hi mca,

I would recommend that your niece speaks to her new employer about housing prospects as Kan has very little in Apartments, but lots of houses to rent.

As for "the nicest", good luck in finding it and if you do please lets us all know.

Thanks Kan. If I need luck finding a decent place I'm not getting my hopes up!

My Thai lady and I searched for ages last year for an apartment in Kan. Very few and the few we found were either full, very expensive or grotty. In the end we bought a small house south of the river.
